Kim Fuller, LMFTChief Operating Officer

Kim Fuller is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, psychotherapist, author, trainer, founder and CEO of Fuller Life Concepts, Inc., a mental health and wellness agency that helps women and children and families manage anxiety and depression using evidence-based models. Her vision is to be a nationally recognized mental health and wellness agency for Black families and people of color. Before starting Fuller Life Concepts, Kim provided leadership and treatment interventions at some of the largest nonprofit mental health agencies in Los Angeles County.

With more than 20 years of experience as a marriage and family therapist, Kim came to understand how successful individuals make bigger strides towards goals when they are being held accountable to themselves and others and understand the ‘why’ behind their beliefs and decisions. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and her experience has been working directly with clients who have complex trauma. She has provided services to Veterans and their families, severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents, men and women who are transitioning from prison or substance abuse facilities, children who are in the foster care system and juvenile justice diversion participants.

Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fresno and her Master of Arts in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach. In her spare time Kim enjoys traveling, running and training for triathlons.

Sidra Corbin, LCSWClinical Integrator

Sidra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 18 years of experience working with individuals, families and groups. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southern University and A & M College and her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from University of Southern California (USC). She is the agency's Clinical Integrator where her role includes supervising unlicensed therapists, assessing the needs of those seeking services and assigning a therapist who can effectively address the concerns.

I have also worked at West Angeles Counseling Center where I worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures and integrated spiritual and psychological practices for improved outcomes. I speak Mandarin and have certifications in Evidence-Based practice of Seeking Safety - substance abuse therapy.

Fanny is a compassionate and dedicated case manager with 20 years of experience working with individuals struggling with mental health. She feels strongly about providing care that is timely, effective, equitable, and client-centered. She has provided services to severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents, children who are in the foster care system, and their families.
Fanny received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from University of California, Los Angeles, and worked towards her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.

I received my BA in Psychology at California State University-Fullerton and my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Currently I have experience working with teens and young adults as well as working with the substance abuse population. I have a strong interest in working with couples and people who are parents. Ashlei Armstead, MSWRegistered Associate Social Worker

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Cal State Los Angeles and a Master's Degree from Cal State San Bernardino. During my time pursuing my Master's degree, I gained valuable experience as a school therapist intern, providing individual therapy to elementary and middle school-aged children. This role equipped me with the expertise to work with children who have individual education plans (IEPs) and those with 504 plans. Upon completing my Master's degree, I embarked on a career providing community-based mental health services to a diverse clientele, including children, teenagers, and adults. In this role, I offered individual, family, and group therapy, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible support for my clients in achieving their treatment goals. I am currently a part of the Fuller Life Concepts team, where I am dedicated to further developing my skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My primary objective is to assist my clients in gaining a deeper understanding of how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. By doing so, I aim to help them effectively reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, ultimately fostering their mental and emotional well-being.

This led me to the medical field, providing assistance to hospice patients and their families. I currently work in the ER assisting with severely mentally ill and substance use patients. I obtained my bachelor degree in Sociology from San Francisco State University. After graduation, I worked in several jobs with children and adolescents from educational and social services settings. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in children and families from University of Southern California (USC). I have experienced working with individuals that have experienced depression, anxiety, and trauma. My objective is to help individuals to identify their barriers and strengths in an effort to help create a foundation that can aid each one as they are navigating with their lives. I am a bilingual Spanish speaking therapist.

History

Founded in 2011, FULLER Life Concept, Inc was created to provide mental health and supportive services for children and families who were victims of crime. FULLER Life Concept, Inc. was founded on the idea of easy access and therefore services were offered to clients in their homes, offices, schools or private and safe location of their choice. The programs for children and families included skills-based mental health services and collaboration with primary care providers to offer well-rounded care.
