Ashlei Armstead, MSWRegistered Associate Social Worker
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Cal State Los Angeles and a Master's Degree from Cal State San Bernardino. During my time pursuing my Master's degree, I gained valuable experience as a school therapist intern, providing individual therapy to elementary and middle school-aged children. This role equipped me with the expertise to work with children who have individual education plans (IEPs) and those with 504 plans. Upon completing my Master's degree, I embarked on a career providing community-based mental health services to a diverse clientele, including children, teenagers, and adults. In this role, I offered individual, family, and group therapy, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible support for my clients in achieving their treatment goals. I am currently a part of the Fuller Life Concepts team, where I am dedicated to further developing my skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My primary objective is to assist my clients in gaining a deeper understanding of how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. By doing so, I aim to help them effectively reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, ultimately fostering their mental and emotional well-being.
